Good Morning Reader,
There is a palpable shift in the air now, and I can feel the world turning inward at October's midpoint. We're looking ahead to one of my most favorite sacred times of the year - when many believe the veil between the living and the dead becomes a little more thin.
Across cultures and traditions, this is a time of remembrance. A time to speak the names of our ancestors, to honor those we’ve lost, to reconnect with the lineage we carry within us and with the truth that we are not alone.
I’d love to invite you to a free Tender Days Grief Circle: Honoring Our Ancestors:
Thursday, October 30
6:30–8:00 PM Central (via Zoom)
This virtual gathering is open to anyone who is grieving the death of a loved one or feeling the ache of disconnection during this season of remembering.
Together, we’ll:
- Light candles in honor of those we carry in our hearts
- Be guided through two gentle meditations for connection and belonging
- Reflect and journal on what arises
- Share (if you wish) in a sacred circle of connection
- Remember our place in the great unfolding of life, death, and becoming
What if you're not connected with your ancestry?! No matter - this will help make some of those connections. Whether we know a little or a lot (or nothing at all) about our lineage, we can tap into the energies of the past and remember that we, too, are ancestors in the making.

Local Grief Circle
For those who are local, we continue our journey of shedding as we move through the cool, dark energies of the season.
Our mantra for the month is simple: I shed and soften.

Breath becomes our companion in as we explore the rawness and vulnerability of release.
October 28: Ritual of Release
We close the month with a sacred fire ritual.
